Class in Siberia

I had class today. I thought I'd be smart and bring my jacket. Last class, I had worn my flip-flops and I had forgotten the jacket. I almost didn't recover from the frostbite. So, this time, wearing closed shoes, I grabbed my jacket on the way out, thinking this would suffice.

Ha! I sat in class, freezing again. My feet were cold, my hands were going numb and I was sure my nose would fall off. I have thick hair and yet, I could feel the cold seeping into my skull. At break, we all made a mad dash for the sun and just basked like lizards.

Next time, I am bringing a hat and a scarf.

I've got the heat on right now and I'm drinking some Yuengling to warm me up!

Merry Christmas, y'all.

Wear layers of clothing. It's the best way to stay warm!!

Songbird...no kidding. the funny thing is that all the girls in the class are freezing, and the guys are all ok!!

As for freezing... maybe if you took a woolen wrap whoever controls the room temp might get an idea??

(Matt, you gotta sleigh?)

Pamela...lol...good idea...I have a wool throw that I could bring...it's a plaid print...I'll wrap it around me like an old Scottish lady!!

This morning, it was in the thirties when I went to school. By the end of my second class, it was in the fifties. After lunch, it was in the sixties.

This is the kind of crud that makes me ill.

C, it's just the building. I think they keep it cooler because it's where all the studios are...but man, it gets cold away from those hot lights!! brrrr...

Crank...ugh...you definitely need layers. and lots of vitamin C!

You need to bundle up like little Randy on "A Christmas Story"... "I can't put my arms down!!!" ;)

Maybe they would finally get the hint that it is JUST A BIT cold in there!!

Yesterday, I walked outside in my jacket and flip flops. It was confusing.

Claudia: These comments are hilarious...maybe make a post just with these comments ! I went to WY with lots of coats, gloves, hats, scarves, etc...but forgot about my feet and took Pink Crocs.
Pink Crocs look pretty good with wool socks...as long as the socks are pink.
Matt: Yuengling, Yes! We can't buy it here, but flew home with a six pack from FL...unfortunately, one decided to blow its top and everything in that bag still reeks of beer.

Jodi...oh that would be priceless!!!!

Mist, I am usually confused so that's about normal for me...

swampy...pink crocs? In WY? time to borrow some shoes sister!! I would recommend just buying a new pair, but I think you have your hands full with the 2yr old and the newborn and mama!!

It's been weird weather here too. Cold, warm, hot. I go to work with a coat, when I come home I wish I'd had shorts on.....but I concur the layer idea.

Stay warm, or cool, whatever the case may be.

Peace
