Mi casa...

Here...my front door...

Looking out the front door, my patio door. It looks pretty good in this light.

And then, looking left, the rest of my patio with my laundry hanging out to dry overnight because the dryer didn't do its joband I was out of quarters (insert expletive as needed...) Also...oops, all the leaves that blew in that I have not yet bothered to pick up and the cardboard I lay down trying to kill the weeds. It didn't work.

I'll have mine up this morning.

Photographic-lighting-ability envy. Cool front yard, I always think of patios as a backyard thing.

And the laundry hanging, lol, tres chic....in a Fred Sanford kind of way.

You have laundry hanging out to dry because you are an Italian immigrant. ;)

I like the tile, too - and the plants (not the weeds). We don't see many like them here in VA.

What a cozy yard you have! I like the stepping stones.

Oooh - very private and secluded looking. What does the thermometer read?

Lee...thanks!!

Jenny...the tile is a nice touch...

Robin...yes, I always thought so too...leave it to these crazy californians to mix things up!! :)

Shauna...yes, it is quite chilly! I can't wait for summer!

Heather, I have no idea what that plant is but it's grown almost 2 feet since I moved in! I'm glad it doesn't have thorns.

Matt!! Damn, I'm busted!!!

Susan, thanks! I also have a wild pomegranate plant. Amazing to me too.

Vicki...thanks!!

Karmyn...the thermometer was too damn cold...about 40!

Hey the place looks good. I thought it was an apartment. If it is, you're really lucky to have your own outdoor space, I've lived in a few apts in Ca and never did.

I want your tile too. Nice pics!

Willow, yeah, the patio clinched the deal for me. I like having my own outdoor space.

Melissa...thanks..but the tiles...well, they stay! :)

This looks so warm and inviting. Laundry on the line makes a nice homey touch. There is nothing like the smell of laundry off of the line. If I wasn't so lazy I would do the same thing only probably not with my snow.

Songbird...it's as close as I can get to a porch for now...

tlawwife, welcom...yes, the smell of line dried laundry is awesome...but I'm still annoyed with the stupid dryer not working right!!

Ah, a wind chime. The melodic tinkling of chimes will forever remind me of the move Twister.

Does that coily hose go to a sprinkler?

Great lighting effect...love the cactus, or whatever that plant is. Your laundry looks like Tibetan flags...Artsy! I have my post ready...will let you know when it goes up. Probably Thursday. Have to post my view tomorrow because we had a birthday today. Wednesday will be what happened to me today. Make any sense? If so, tell me what it is.

Totally love it, glad to see something other than snow!

There is snow outside my front door. Do I have California-envy?

Tibetan prayer flags! That's it!
Lovely golden light
what, pray, are the trees in the background?

Claudia said...

Kurt, yes, my lovely windchime! The coil is a garden hose...with a sprayer head.

Swampy...whatever you post...I'll go along for the ride!! I have no idea what the plant is..it was here when I moved in.

Amy and Sarala...thanks for stopping by!

Mouse...The trees are some sort of palm...very prevalent around here!! I'll see if I can find more info.

Mouse and Swampy...Tibetan prayer flags?? hehe...I like that. My kitchen towel will never be the same!!

Great idea to take photo at night, the lighting is really warm and inviting, all I'd need would be a beer and a good book!
