a few days

I sit here bright and early, the a narrow stream of sun rushes in through the window and hitting only my hands as I type. I've got my coffee next to me; its liquid energy not quite seeping into the brain yet but overall, it's a good morning.

Last Thursday I took the day off of "work." I refused to do anything school related. Instead, I went down to Ventura. The drive down there is one of my favorites...a narrow strip of road between the ocean and hills.

I headed to Target (tarjay) and got a few things for the house, like this shelf I'm using as a spice rack, as well as a shiny new toy.

Friday was back to work...

You just got an iPod, Claud? That reminds me of the time I bought a used VCR at a yard sale and then it didn't even record so I sold it for a few clothes hangers.

oooohhh i love 101 on days when all you want to do is pull off the side of the road and risk the cliffs to wet your feet in the waves.

One time I was on that road and 'Venture Highway' came on the radio, it was a really strange sensation. I wonder how many people realise there isn't actually a Ventura highway.

I am totally jealous, that's a sweet docking station! Alarm and everything. You bastard. Does it have radio too?

Matt...was that how you got me on video? LOL

Thank you Robin. Yes, I love me my color!! No doubt about it. It makes things so much brighter, don't you agree?

A little jealous, here, both of your new docking station and the fact that you live where you live.

However, you definitely deserve a little treat for yourself.

Pamela...actually a few years ago, they got so much rain that parts of the road were washed away. If even a little tsunami came, I'd be in trouble cuz the town I live is a grand 7ft above sea level. Please don't let it happen!!

CEO...yes, I was forgetting that.

Jenny, aw...thanks!!

Dan, sometimes you've just got to! I understand!

Stephanie..go to Tarjay and get one!! seriously! it wasn't that bad....I am trying to enjoy my time here. I don't know where i'll be after so I might as well enjoy it. Despite all my moaning and groaning, it is beautiful, isn't it?

Aren't those IHOME things the best!!??? Now when I wake up in the morning, instead of hearing an annoying beep sound I get to hear the sweet music of my favorite bands!! LOL
